Year 3 -1 January 202 -AOPO Marina -Phuket -Thailand

This is the first blog of Year 3.

I woke about 7.00am and got going with a large list of things to do. There were lots of Happy New Year messages and I sent some.

I started by putting out the fishing rods, the Ensign and other deck items which had been brought in. I had to clear the double cabin as most things had been dumped in there. I then started sorting out my cabin and clothes so it was liveable.

I then had some breakfast and it was good to have a cup of tea again and I had banana and yoghurt and granola which was like old times.

The marina guys came at 9.00am to move Stormbird but when I went to start the engine it would not start. The guys who came to drain the filters must have not bled it. We rang them and they came and we got it going so I moved at about 11.00am instead to C24. At least I could plug in now to the electrics. Once I sorted out the lines I carried on cleaning the cockpit and sorting everything. However, by about 5.00pm I could do no more and I seemed to be overheated. I went to the swimming pool to cool down and had a shower.

I was not hungry and felt a bit off so I had baked beans on toast and thought I would watch another film. However, I did not feel right so went to bed early. Perhaps I had overheated and I hoped the rest would sort me out.

The picture of the day is of course Stormbird again at her mooring as I took no pictures today.
