Year 2- 28-30 September 2025 –Back in Benoa Marina -Bali

There was little to report during these days as the crew were enjoying the area and were completing the list of jobs that I gave them. I also got back to London after my brother’s wedding. It was a lovely wedding and a very joyous occasion which was very rewarding after the sad occasions for which I have had to return to the UK.

 I got back on a flight on the 29th and was back in Bali on the 30th about 6.00pm at the marina. I met Mark, Ruth and Janet at the Black Stone restaurant adjacent to the marina. It was good to see them and to feel the warmth of the Indonesian weather after some cooler UK weather. Stormbird was there waiting for me and the picture of the day is of Stormbird as I arrived.

We caught up and had supper at the restaurant reading to provision and welcome new crew over the next couple of days.

Need/Opportunity Year Three

In year three I will be going from Thailand to Sri Lanka, India, Maldives and then on to Chagos, Mauritius, Reunion, Cape Town, St Helena, Azores and back to the UK.  I am looking for crew from Mauritius/ Reunion Island to Cape Town and from Cape Town to the UK. If of any interest do email me.
