Year 2 – 25 September 2025 Guest Blog - Benoa Marina

Nick flew home yesterday for his brother's wedding, leaving Stormbird in the capable hands of Mark, Janet and Ruth. They rose early after a busy night spent fighting off the mosquitoes prevalent in Benoa Marina. But the sun was shining, and they took a refreshing dip in the plunge pool before having breakfast and starting on a few chores. As the sun beat down on them, Ruth cleaned the metalwork while Janet did an inventory, discovering three pots of marmite! Mark mended various broken bits, resealing the hatches and fridge. They then took a taxi to Djambari Beach for a swim and a sundowner. It was a lovely evening, and they stayed for a seafood dinner on the beach. Most delicious, especially the crab.
